The Miami International Film Festival starts this week, and me and my better half will be going to ten films–which is a record for us. Below are the films we’ll be watching and I will be reviewing:
March 2nd, Opening Night
The Diary of Preston Plummer
The Perfect Family
Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You
Born & Raised
Besides the films, the great thing about MIFF is it uses just about every theatre in the area: Colony Theatre, The Coral Gables Art Cinema, Festival Village Stages, Freedom Tower, The Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, Miami Beach Cinematheque, O Cinema, Regal South Beach Cinemas; The Historic Alfred I DuPont Building, The Light Box at Goldman Warehouse, Tower Theatre, and Villa 221. The crown jewel is the Gusman; a classic and restored movie palace–photos will be posted tomorrow.
